forenzo.io is live: forensic interviews from upload to MDT review

Burning a disc, filling out a chain of custody form by hand, and mailing a copy to the prosecutor is still the routine in a lot of centers. It is also the point where nobody can say for certain which copy is the original.

forenzo.io is now live. It is a new Network Ninja product, and it connects to Collaborate, the case management system already running in hundreds of Children’s Advocacy Centers. Upload the recording and get back a speaker-identified transcript, a timestamped index of the key moments, and a link the detective opens without creating an account. A 90 minute interview is usually back in about fifteen.

Built for the part that comes after the interview:

A recording opens in about a second, and seeking is instant. It streams rather than downloading, so click a transcript line and the video is at that second, not loading toward it. Court prep stops being an afternoon of scrubbing with a legal pad
Every reading the engine considered, with its confidence, one click from the line, so someone who knows the vocabulary can write in the right one. Corrections sit beside the original, never over it
No-account sharing, one link per recipient, each carrying a PIN and an expiry, immediate revocation, opens recorded in a log nobody can edit, and their own copy of the video with their name burned into the frame
A documented API anyone can build against. Any recorder or case management system authenticates with your center’s key and hands the interview over tagged with your own case number, in parallel parts that hash as they go and retry themselves on a bad connection rather than restarting the file
SHA-256 at upload, so the file a prosecutor watches in September is provably the file that went up in April, and it re-attests on request years later
CJIS Security Policy v6.0 mapped control by control, a signable HIPAA BAA, and SOC 2 by third-party audit at the company and product level
